About

The philosophy behind every journey.

Every place can be read in different ways. That idea has shaped the way I travel for years, and it is the reason Living Atlas Studio exists.

I studied Art History because I have always been fascinated by the stories that cities tell through their architecture, art, and cultural landscapes. As I travelled across different countries, I realised that the journeys I remembered most were never those where I saw the greatest number of places, but those where I came to understand them more deeply. Because understanding a destination is about far more than visiting its most famous landmarks. It comes from seeing how history, culture, architecture, and everyday life come together to shape its identity.

Over time, I realised something else: there is no single way to experience a place. Every traveller arrives with a different curiosity. Some are captivated by architecture, others by museums, archaeology, gastronomy, landscapes, or the rhythm of local life. The destination remains the same, but the stories it reveals are never identical. That is why I created Living Atlas Studio.

I wanted to design journeys that begin with a conversation between the traveller and the destination, rather than with a checklist of places to visit. Only when those two perspectives meet does the journey begin to take shape.

Each itinerary is carefully curated so that every place has a purpose, every transition builds context, and every experience naturally leads to the next. Rather than moving from one attraction to another, travellers gradually develop a richer understanding of the destination as a whole.

Living Atlas Studio was created for people who believe that travel can be more than sightseeing. That discovering a place means engaging with its history, culture, and identity in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and lasting.

Because every destination has many stories to tell. The journey is discovering which one is yours.

LISBON

THROUGH ART, HISTORY AND URBAN LIFE.
Lisbon reveals itself through successive layers of history, geography, and cultural transformation. From the medieval fabric of Alfama to the rational reconstruction that followed the earthquake of 1755, the city can be read as a continuous dialogue between memory and change.
Across four days, this journey explores Lisbon as a living cultural landscape where architecture, topography, and everyday life remain deeply connected. Designed for travellers interested in history, urban culture, and the stories embedded within cities, it offers a deeper way of understanding Lisbon beyond its most familiar images.
