Journeys

A collection of cultural readings

These pre-curated journeys explore cities through history, art, architecture, memory, and everyday urban life.
Each experience follows a distinct narrative framework designed to reveal the cultural layers that shape a place beyond its surface.
Developed for small groups and accompanied on-site, the journeys offer a slower and more intentional way of engaging with the urban landscape through context, observation, and local perspectives.

Each journey is uniquely priced depending on city, duration, and group composition. Pricing is available upon request.

ROME

IS A CITY SHAPED THROUGHT CONTINUOUS LAYERS OF POWER, IMAGE, AND CULTURAL REINTERPRETATION.

Rome is approached as a city shaped through continuous layers of power, image, and cultural reinterpretation — where ancient structures, imperial constructions, Baroque scenography, and contemporary life coexist within the same urban fabric.

This journey interprets the city as a cultural system, where architecture, urban form, and historical memory are deeply interconnected. Rather than following a conventional itinerary, it offers a structured reading of Rome through its spaces, symbolic structures, and historical transformations.

Over five days, the city is experienced as a sequence of cultural contexts:

From its contemporary urban structure, where axes, plazas, and circulation systems shape the logic of movement and visibility, to the foundations of the Roman Empire, where architecture establishes the language of political authority, Rome reveals itself as a spatial system of order and control.

This structure is not static. Across centuries, classical references are continuously reinterpreted and reactivated, transforming the city into a place where history does not accumulate, but remains active and in constant dialogue with the present.

A shift in register introduces Baroque Rome, where space becomes theatrical and perception becomes central. Here, the city is no longer only structure or continuity, but image — constructed to be seen, experienced, and emotionally interpreted.

The journey concludes in contemporary Rome, where historical layers and everyday life coexist within the same environment, allowing the city to be read as an ongoing process of transformation rather than a fixed historical form.

This experience is designed for travellers who wish to engage with Rome beyond its monuments — those interested in understanding how the city constructs meaning through power, memory, and visual culture. It is especially suited to those drawn to history, art, and urban space, who seek to experience Rome not as a collection of sites, but as a living system where different temporalities coexist. More than visiting Rome, it is about learning how to read it.
